Ankit has been part of the Venture Lending space since early days of the Venture ecosystem in India. Ankit carries over 11 years of experience in managing and leading Venture Debt investments including leading equity investments into portfolio companies. At Alteria Capital, has led various investments including Dealshare, Good Glamm Group, Pratilipi, Jumbotail, Wizfreight, Alpha Vector, Exotel, Cars24, Believe, Loadshare, Supertails, Superbottoms, Early Salary among others.
Prior to joining Alteria Capital as Partner, Ankit was a Director at InnoVen Capital India (formerly SVB India Finance) where he led 100+ venture debt investments in companies like Firstcry, Eruditus, Boat, Licious, Dailyhunt, Medgenome, Ofbusiness amongst others. Ankit also helped set up and support InnoVen’s lending business in South East Asia in its early days.
Prior to Innoven, Ankit worked at the Credit Risk Management team at Yes Bank in Mumbai where he was responsible for supporting credit sanctions for entire East and South India. He is a “Mentor of Change”, at Atal Innovation Mission (Niti Aayog) and has been mentoring budding entrepreneurs through initiatives like #Payitforward and HostelFund. Ankit has been invited to participate in various expert panels and address gatherings conducted by Hindustan Times, Moneycontrol, Yourstory, Google among others. Ankit has a Bachelor’s in Commerce from St.Xaviers College, Kolkata and holds a Management Degree from IMT Ghaziabad. Ankit is also a Qualified Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary.
