Akshat is Senior Vice President at Alteria Capital and is a part of the investment team.
Prior to joining Alteria, Akshat was working with Kotak Mahindra Investments where he founded the Venture Debt business for Kotak Group. Key investments included Farmart and BluSmart. In addition to building the venture debt business, Akshat was also heading the North & East India region for the structured finance business (AUM of 2000 cr+) where he funded multiple LBOs, M&As, Promoters across sectors – tech, consumer, healthcare & auto.
He has previously worked with ICICI Bank (Global Structured Finance) and Synergy Consulting as investor and investment banker across regions – MENA, SEA and India.
Akshat holds a PGDM (MBA) from the Indian Institute of Management at Indore and a Bachelor’s degree in Technology (Mechanical Engineering) from the Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology at Prayagraj (Allahabad).
Akshat is passionate about playing tennis and badminton and loves to read fiction.
