Sweta has been a part of the start-up ecosystem for over 10 years. Most recently she had an opportunity to lead strategic partnership with the startup ecosystem at HDFC Bank. Before stepping into the corporate world, Sweta Co-founded her second startup – Startup Réseau. SR is an ecosystem enabler working with multiple stakeholders and bringing in various types of structured interface for enabling unique linkages between startups, and enterprise, capital, markets and services.
Prior to that, she was managing the India operations and finances for Zone Startups, a global brand of meta accelerators and early stage venture capital fund. While at Zone Startups, she successfully co-created and executed India’s largest Fintech conference, Fintegrate Zone. Sweta had a stint as an investment professional at Mayfield India, where she was responsible for generating and managing early stage leads for the fund. During her time at TiE Mumbai, she managed several cohorts of IQ Bootcamp, one of India’s early startup accelerators.
Sweta started her career as an entrepreneur, having built a brand ‘Chocodesire’, known for its premium handmade chocolates and surprise planning initiatives. Sweta holds a Master’s in Business Finance from Mumbai University. She routinely travels to relatively unknown destinations, a coffee lover, watch collector, single malts fan, follows tennis and loves to paint canvases in her free time
